Solid Squares - Places

For his latest release as Solid Squares, multi-instrumentalist & composer Tom Lageveen presents five dream-like instrumental soundscapes built on a series of field recordings.

Inspired both by the outdoors and the interior stretches of the mind, the compositions on this release represent attempts at retreating inward, escaping outward, or both at the same time. The arrangements are meant to come across less as songs, but more as scenes or ‘places.'

In lieu of a traditional physical release, this album ships with a zine featuring a series of collages, inspired by the music, meant to serve as visual accompaniment to the album.
